    1. What is a tag?<\/h3>\n

    A tag is used to output data to the Excel report templates when compiling reports.
    \nEach individual instruction on a tag is referred to as a directive, consisting of the format “name=value”.<\/p>\n

    When you compile a report using the compiler, the report data will embed in the excel file according to directives mentioned in the tag.<\/p>\n

    The first tag directive and its sheetname must be written as follows.
    \nSheet Name: ~T_IND
    \nTag Name: @RTT
    \nDirectives:
    \nTYPE=top
    \nDATA=index
    \nINDEX_TARGET=self<\/span><\/p>\n

    \u203b The Tag is created as a shape on Excel.
    \n\u203b It is necessary that the tag name begins with \u201c@RTT:\u201d to function properly.
    \n\u203b Begin notes to self with a “#”. This will comment it out from the tag.<\/p>\n

    If you have already installed the report compiler on Excel, click \u201cNew Book\u201d under \u201cReport\u201d in the Add-Ins tab to create the \u201c~#T_IND\u201d sheet complete with tag and blank sheets.<\/p>\n

    2. How to Create a Tag<\/h3>\n

    Download the report tag from glu.<\/h4>\n
      \n
    1. \n
        \n
      1. Select the dice to be used for reporting.<\/li>\n
      2. Select \u201cPeriod\u201d under the \u201cReport\u201d tab.\n
        \"Report<\/a><\/div>\n<\/li>\n
      3. Specify the report conditions under Data \u201cAspect\u201d.
        \nNote: According to the data you wish to export, adjust the display format under “View”.<\/p>\n

      4. Click \u201cExport\u201d and then download \u201cTemplate Tag\u201d.\n

        Embed the tag in Excel<\/h4>\n

        1. Click \u201cNew Tag\u201d under Report in the Add-ins tab.\n

          \n\u203bIf you have not yet installed the report compiler in Excel, please refer to “Installing the Report Compiler”.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
        2. Click Open Tag File and drag and drop the template tag from glu to the pop-up window.\n

        3. Click \u201cCreate\u201d.\n

        4. The tag content should fill in.\n

          \u203b The basic tag content will download here, but you may need to edit specific directives such as “period”. If you are unclear about what to edit, please contact our Support Team.<\/p>\n

          3. Changing Tag Names<\/h3>\n

          It is necessary to assign a name beginning with \u201c@RTT:\u201d to each tag. The portion after \u201c@RTT:\u201d may be decided freely.<\/p>\n

          Click the tag which you wish to edit on Excel. The tag name will appear in the upper left-hand corner. You can edit the tag name here.<\/p>\n

          4. Format Settings<\/h3>\n

          You may customize the background color, transparency settings, and other format settings freely.<\/p>\n

          5. Showing\/Hiding Tags<\/h3>\n

          You can choose to show or hide the tag under the \u201cSelection Pane\u201d feature on Excel.
          \n\u203bAfter the report compiles the tag will be hidden. Redisplay the tag under the \u201cSelection Pane\u201d.<\/p>\n

          Tags will display in the order that they are placed (the bottom-most tag displaying first in the Selection Pane).
          \nWhen you have both a tag retrieving the reference date & a tag referring to the reference date cell with START_AT\/END_AT, change the order of the tags with the arrow buttons so that the tag retrieving the reference date is executed first.<\/p>\n
